Orinj places a good selection of audio editing tools at your disposal, and it lets you work in a well-organized and comfortable environment. It provides full support for WAV and MIDI editing, multi-track recording and mixing, special effects and much more. The software is ideal for both expert users and beginners, so you can make use of everything it has to offer to mix existing tracks or create new tunes from the ground up, without any difficulties.

The software is free to try, with some minor functionality restrictions. It's been developed in Java, which makes it compatible with any operating system that supports the Java Runtime Environment. You only need to extract its components and run the main JAR file, and the software will be up and running in no time.

Orinj lets you work on multiple tracks, which are presented in the largest part of its user interface. Each track has its own options for muting and soloing, applying effects and more. You can use one track to record yourself with a microphone, another to import an existing audio file, loops and so on. The recording option can be found directly beneath the tracks, and it takes a single click to start the process.

The program gives you a good degree of control over your audio tracks. There's a lot you can do, from adjusting the volume using keyframes to applying and customizing special effects. What's more, if you want to focus your attention on a particular track, you can switch the view mode from multi-track to single-track. Additionally, you can go to a keyboard view, if you want to compose a new loop, using various virtual instruments.

Special effects can be found in one of the top menus, and you only need to select one to bring up its configurations panel. Each effect has its own customization options, which allow you to make it more noticeable, discreet or anything in-between. You can make your mix as simple or complex as you want and export it as a single file without encountering any kind of difficulties.

Orinj provides you with everything you need to let your imagination loose and create the best tunes you can think of.

Pros

The software lets you work in a comfortable multi-track editing environment. You can mix recordings, audio files, pre-recorded loops, apply special effects and more. Orinj is a Java-based application, so you can use it on various operating systems.

Cons

There are no obvious issues to address.
